Outlined below is a snapshot of our 2024 progress.

Environment

We are currently aligning our water and waste figures with the methodology of our parent company to enhance the consistency of our disclosures. The updated progress on water and waste reduction will be shared in due course once the refinement process is complete.

Notes

  1. Measured based on the expenditure of procured items, including all hotels within LHG’s global portfolio, unless otherwise stated.
  2. Seafood from responsible sources includes fisheries or farms certified with MSC, ASC, or Country’s ecolabel.
  3. Locally sourced is defined as produce which is produced within the country of the property.
  4. Defined as compliant with relevant Voluntary Sustainability Standards.
  5. LHG is committed to sourcing 100% cage-free eggs by the end of 2025. In 2024, 35% and 80% of eggs used in the hotels in Asia Pacific region and Europe & North America region were cage-free respectively.
  6. Paper products include paper packaging, marketing paper, office paper, napkins and paper towels.
  7. Sustainable cleaning chemicals is defined as compliant to Cradle to Cradle, Green Seal, Safer Choice, USDA Biobased Products, or any Country’s ecolabel.
  8. Gender data reported includes only LHG’s directly employed individuals.
  9. Training topics include anti-corruption, data privacy, climate essentials, anti-discrimination, unconscious bias, and health and safety.
  10. LTIFR is the number of reported lost-time accidents for every 1 million working hours.
  11. Injury rate is the number of reported accidents per 100 employees.
  12. The "overall score" is a single rating captured in the guest satisfaction survey that summarises the guest's entire stay experience, providing a holistic view of their satisfaction level.
  13.
