Through CONNECT, our hotels organise a number of diversity-related activities and engage in various initiatives to raise awareness and promote acceptance. This is exemplified by Eaton’s vibrant and diverse lineup of initiatives. To promote diversity, Eaton HK has hosted the annual month-long Pride Programme celebrating LGBTQ+ culture since 2018. Eaton HK has also implemented the unique E.D.I.T (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Thriving) curriculum, providing team members with training to foster an inclusive work environment. In addition, sign language and wheelchair accessibility training were recently introduced to enhance guest services.

Employee Wellness Programmes: We offer comprehensive wellness programmes that promote healthy lifestyles, encompassing fitness activities, nutrition guidance, and stress management initiatives for our employees.

Holistic Wellness Promise to Guests: We extend our commitment to wellness by providing thoughtful amenities and services that cater to the well-being of our guests, including fitness facilities, spa offerings, and healthy dining options.

Mental Health Support: We provide resources and support systems to address the mental well-being of both our employees and guests, including counselling services and awareness campaigns to reduce stigma.

Wellness Education and Training: We prioritise ongoing education and training on various wellness topics, equipping our employees with knowledge and tools to make positive choices, and extending this commitment to our guests through informative materials and wellness-oriented activities during their stay.

Learning & Development

We prioritise equal access to opportunities for all colleagues, supported by policies and procedures that ensure equitable pay based on their role, skills, contribution, or impact. Performance reviews and regular discussions are guided by the performance management framework, PRIDE, to foster open dialogue, talent nurturing, and career advancement.

A learning mindset is cultivated among colleagues, with specific goals agreed upon with the Learning & Development Team, ensuring relevance and confidence in both professional and personal environments. Various learning programmes, such as First60 Certification, Langham Curriculum Certification (LCC), Advanced Programme for Executives (APEX), and Langham Leadership Trainee Programme (LLTP), enable colleagues to gain new skills and experiences. Sustainability training, including Unconscious Bias, Harassment Prevention, and Climate 101, is delivered to all colleagues.

Health and safety

The health and safety of our guests and employees is of paramount importance. We have implemented stringent protocols and measures to ensure a safe and secure environment throughout our properties. From rigorous cleanliness and sanitisation standards to comprehensive risk assessments and emergency response plans, we are committed to maintaining the highest levels of health and safety. Our dedicated teams undergo regular training and receive ongoing guidance to ensure strict compliance with all health and safety guidelines. We continuously monitor and enhance our procedures to adapt to evolving circumstances, prioritising the well-being and peace of mind of everyone within our hotels.
